Youth Programs
At the heart of a strong community is a simple truth: when we invest in our youth, we invest in our future. The San Bernardino Police Department is proud to run a variety of youth engagement programs that build trust, offer mentorship, and create life-changing opportunities for young people across our city.
With your help, the San Bernardino Police Foundation can continue supporting key programs.

Additional Info:
IMPACT
A life-changing mentorship program for at-risk youth that focuses on building discipline, accountability, and self-worth. IMPACT gives kids the tools to break cycles of violence, make better decisions, and realize their potential. This grass roots program aims to mentor kids in whatever their interests are (sports, music, arts, cooking, etc) and be able to spend quality time with a Police employee, building trust and finding that solid role model to help change the trajectory of their life. The purpose of IMPACT is to make sure that we provide opportunities for our youth.
PAL
A community-based sports and enrichment program that brings kids and officers together through athletic competition, leadership development, and teamwork—helping to build positive relationships and keep kids engaged in safe, structured environments.
LEAD SB (Leadership, Empowerment, And Development)
A youth leadership initiative that gives high school students a behind-the-scenes look at law enforcement, civic responsibility, and personal growth. Participants learn directly from officers, develop leadership skills, and explore future careers in public service.
